Service Care Solutions have a new and exciting opportunity with has become available in the Cardiff area

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new Residential Home within the Cardiff area, which provides short break accommodation for young people both looked after children and children with disabilities.

In addition to making a positive impact on the lives of our children, there are generous enhancements paid for evenings, weekend working, Bank Holidays and sleeping in duties, additional to your salary. They are currently offering £12.47ph up to £18.71ph Ty Storrie are looking for a patient, empathetic and caring nature person to support individuals who use our short break home.

If you feel you are this type of person, then you are who we are looking for. We are looking for individuals to help ensure children and young people receive a high level and quality of individual support throughout their time in our home.

You will be working within a team supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes, build appropriate relationships and have fun, being there at every step of their development. You need to be willing to learn and share experiences, skills and knowledge whilst also putting children and young people at the centre of your role.

Every day is different, and you will face new challenges, we need staff members with a can-do attitude, that are willing to go above and beyond for the young people in their care. We need our team to help recognise and promote young peoples individuality, uniqueness and diverse needs whilst providing a nurturing and positive environment.

Essential Requirements:
DBS
Right to work
Previous experience working with children or within a children's residential home
Registered with Social Care Wales
Car Driver and access to a vehicle
