Sales Representative

£30,000 per annum (gross)

Eva Timber is a timber importer and merchant based in Crook, Co Durham. We are an emerging company and having recently taken on a new site in Crook we are now looking to expand our presence in the North East.

Sales Representative is required to support company’s business expansion.

**Job Description**:

- Contacting existing and new customers to explain the advantages of buying their companies’ products or services.
- Selling to timber end users e.g. construction companies, builders, landscapers, fencing contractors, general public and DIY customers
- Communicating with customers before and after a sale
- Resolving customer complaints and concerns
- Processing orders, dealing with enquiries and cold calling prospective customers
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s products or services to advise and make suitable recommendations to customers.

**Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong work ethic, desire to work in a fast-paced environment, confident and resilient;
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated;
- Ability to sell products and services
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategy, product demonstration and sales reports
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have experience within a sales OR customer facing role previously
- Previous experience in the timber sector or builders merchant is desired but not a requirement.

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
