**About the Role**:
Lotus is looking for a self-motivated Operative, with exceptionally high standards and attention to detail, who can carry out initial analysis to identify the root cause of problems.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Rectification of all vehicle components, using the defined processes, whilst ensuring customer expectations are achieved.
- Determine the root cause of problems and feedback the causing factors to Team Leaders and Supervisors in the Production Line.
- Pro-actively identify potential improvements to processes.
- Use of efficient working practices, to maintain on time delivery.
- Regular monitoring of tooling and facilities, ensuring product quality is achieved.
- Support the documentation and resolution of build problems.
- Take pride in local housekeeping & improve where required.
- Able to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
- Confident to work with different people, both colleagues and internal customers.
- Health and Safety and 5S awareness.
- Patience and the ability to concentrate on one task for several hours at a time.
- An eye for detail.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required**:

- City & Guilds - Level 2 Diploma in light vehicle maintenance and repair principles (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
- Experience with vehicle repair and rebuild is essential.
- Previous experience of working within the automotive industry, specifically rectification methods on fully assembled vehicles.
- Proven interest and ability in problem solving.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Experience with vehicle electronics diagnosis is preferred.
