Here at Hitachi Rail we have a fantastic opportunity for Group Internal Communications Executive. This role comes with a hybrid work-base.

The successful applicant will support the Director Internal Communications to deliver planned and reactive internal communications to colleagues for Hitachi Rail Group / Global, and inform, connect and engage Hitachi Rail colleagues with business priorities, plans and culture, and protect the internal reputation of the business

**Main responsibilities of the role**:

- Support the objectives of the Rail Group Mid Term Management Plan through best-practice internal communications activities
- Support delivery of the Hitachi Corporate and Hitachi Rail Group Internal Communications strategy, campaigns and plans at a group level, ensuring a targeted and segmented approach and managing the global channel mix
- With the Director Internal Communications, create and deliver IC projects, campaigns, events and engagement activities specific at Group level
- Create and deliver content for Rail Group global internal comms channels
- Implement regular mechanisms to measure and report on internal communications activity outcomes and effectiveness in Group channels
- Use Hitachi Insights Survey and other feedback in the development of communications activities where appropriate
- Be aware of and actively promote and implement Hitachi’s Corporate ethos, culture and values and be a champion of Hitachi Rail’s Strategy
- Undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required

**About you **

Applicants should be able to demonstrate all of the essential requirements listed below:
**Essential**
- Solid experience of an IC role within a complex organisation
- Excellent, creative written and spoken skills in English
- Evidence of delivery of creative internal communications campaigns through multiple channels including print, digital media and events
- Ability to deliver communications in print, digital media and events
- Experience of delivering and maintaining digital channels and apps for content delivery and analysis
- In-depth knowledge and skills in Sharepoint
- Commitment to collaborating within a Group / Global team

**Desirable**
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Apps including Teams, Yammer, Forms
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite’s InDesign
- Google Analytic
