Sports Coach Apprentice

**The role is based in and around Havering and Thurrock areas.**

**Overview**:
**Main Duties**:
Work alongside our experienced coaches in local primary schools to support their delivery of high quality PE & School Sport.

Deliver a range of extra-curricular activities before school, lunchtimes & after school.

Support in the delivery of our specialist programmes - Girls Football Academy.

Support school competitions alongside other staff members.

Work alongside head coaches at Holiday Camps during school holidays.

**Requirements**:

- Passion and enthusiasm towards sport and working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire children
- Qualifications related to sport are desirable
- Previous coaching experience is desirable but not essential
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Willingness to learn and undertake continuous professional development

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £7.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
