Dispatch Operative

Jurassic Coast Meats is currently recruiting for a dispatch operative to join our friendly family business based at Winfrith Newburgh. This diverse business operates a medium scale catering division as well as an ever-expanding retail and online farm shop. The business specialises in producing and selling their own farm reared Aberdeen Angus Beef & outdoor bred Duroc cross Pork from the commercial unit based on the farm at Winfrith Newburgh. We also supply fresh fruit and vegetables as well as our own range of freshly prepared vegetables from our sister site at Weymouth.

The Role

This position is on site based and will involve dealing with goods in and out of our dispatch department. You will be required to put customers orders together and also deal with booking goods in.
- You will be required to work as part of a team and at times on your own
- Accurately and effectively putting orders together
- Management of stock
- Processing orders and quotations
- Maximizing sales especially with our farm reared Aberdeen Angus Beef and Pork
- Will have excellent organisational skills
- Will need to have a keen eye for detail and be an excellent communicator
- Be honest, dependable, and dedicated
