The Passage House Hotel is a privately owned hotel with 90 bedrooms, F&B operation with Leisure Club.

As Head Receptionist, reporting to the Front of House Manager, you will lead a team of Receptionists and Night Porters, providing a 24-hour service, to ensure the smooth running of the reception department.

As Head Receptionist, leading by example at all times, you will deliver a calm, professional and welcoming atmosphere to all guests and owners, dealing with any issues which may arise, and delivering high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities of the role will include; Dealing with staffing issues, rota monitoring, aspects of health & safety, cleaning & maintenance, reporting procedures, communication & feedback, correspondence with guests/member, assisting the Front of House Manager in day to day duties

Located in a only 20 minutes from Exeter, the hotel offers a range of self-catering suites and lodges as well as full hotel facilities and leisure club.

**Required Skills**:

- Previous Experience within a similar role, ideally within hospitality
- Confident, friendly, approachable, positive & able to work well under pressure
- Experience in managing and motivating a team of 4 or more
- Ability to deliver exceptional guest service
- Excellent communication skills, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Competent in cash handling, accounts and banking reconciliations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
