Head of Commercial

As the social housing sector evolves to focus on energy efficiency, this role is an opportunity be involved in the development of a rapidly growing business. Key responsibilities:

- Lead the implementation of our commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals
- Deliver robust financial analysis with actionable insights monthly
- Actively oversee forecasts and manage deviations
- Develop and nurture the current commercial team ensuring that they attain their maximum potential
- Design and enhance commercial processes to maximise performance and efficiencies
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with teams across the business to ensure all opportunities are capitalised.
- Analyse opportunities and risks ensuring these are effectively communicated
- Provide advise on contractual claims and disputes.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience at Commercial Management level within the construction industry.
- Experienced in leading a commercial team.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law with strong contractual experience
- Bsc Honours Quantity Surveying
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience of engaging with clients and contractors.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and prioritise your workload effectively
- Driven individual with strong leadership and influencing skills
