Oakleaf Partnership is partnered with a global financial services firm in their search for a Payroll & benefits advisor/Payroll Specialist to join their best-in-class payroll function. This will be a fast-paced role working supporting the US & UK functions.

**Role**

The role requires a proactive mindset. The Payroll & Benefits advisor/ Payroll Specialist will partner closely with the head of Payroll to support Payroll & Benefits and employees in NYC/UK offices. They will support day-to-day Payroll tasks and Adhoc projects.

You will have outstanding experience in delivering excellence in:
Payroll
- Process and reconcile payroll on a semi-monthly basis
- Create, revise, and maintain payroll control procedures and practices with best industry practice
- Prepares ad hoc reports, i.e., Cost allocation and special pay reports for the Finance & Compensation team in the UK
- Process all Benefits and payroll-related invoices in conjunction with the UK Procurement Department in the UK

Benefits Administration
- Manage the evaluation and administration of the U.S.based employee benefit programs, including health and wellness, plans, as well as any other benefit that will enhance the broader employee value proposition
- Analyze benefit plans and costs and recommend improvements and new programs
- Assist with the Annual Benefits Open Enrollment, including employee communications and informational meetings
- Manage employee benefit records and data maintenance with external benefit vendors
- Ensure proper processes and administration of employee benefit transactions

We are keen to hear from proactive Payroll professionals with ambition and drive. These individuals will need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate environment. **Financial services preferred**.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 years’ experience in a corporate environment
- Excellent project management, organization, prioritization, written/verbal communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proactive with strong attention to detail
- High degree of professionalism and sound judgment with an understanding of when and how to escalate issues
- Solution-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team
