We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our team This role sits within the high growth Outdoor & Essentials category and you will be tasked with a diverse product portfolio across Family Leisure products. This role represents a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to senior commercial teams and to engage colleagues across the business to land an integrated, best in class, commercial customer offer.

**Your Role**

As a Merchandiser within GM, you will work collaboratively with the buyer to set the category strategy. You will work with key suppliers and internal stakeholders alike in order to deliver sales, pricing and growth ahead of the market while managaging the category P&L.

You will manage product critical path and lifecycle to ensure launch availability and full availability on continuity lines.

You will need to accurately forecast sales, stock turn and markdown to achieve maximum profit.

**About you**
- Previous experience working as a Merchandiser or Merchandising Assistant
- Strong commercial awareness and being highly numerate.
- A strong understanding of customer requirements, market trends and competitors
- Ability to work independently and move your areas of responsibility forward
- Flair for solving problems and making decisions
