School Librarian

**Grade**: NJC SCP 8 - 12, £22,777 to £24,496 per annum (£10,531 - £11,326 pro rata)

**Contract**: Permanent

**Start Date**: February 2023

An opportunity has arisen to join the friendly team at Ribston Hall High School as our School Librarian. This position is part time (20 hours per week), term time only plus INSET (39 weeks per academic year).

Our library offers a wide range of amazing resources to support learning and teaching across the curriculum. It provides a place for collaborative learning, creativity, and for developing independent research skills.

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and highly organised School Librarian, with a passion and enthusiasm for reading. You will play a unique role in supporting our students to develop into effective, independent learners and readers.

With outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, you will demonstrate excellent organisation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will be proficient at proactively planning and prioritising and demonstrate a systematic approach to work.
