**What this role is about**:
**What you’ll do**:

- Day to day management of the QA function at Airbox.
- Managing and mentoring QA team members.
- Measuring and monitoring performance of the QA function.
- Set the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
- Manage stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
- Create a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and ensures diverse representation

In addition, this is a hands-one role and the Head of QA will
- Support the triaging of defects and ensuring timely escalation to the correct department
- Track and coordinate regression defects, ensuring they go to the appropriate team for resolution
- Understand non-functional requirements and prepare ways to test these in addition to functional requirements
- Maintain awareness of different test types and phases, ensuring features are release ready
- Work with product managers and developers on testing new features and flows being released
- Write and execute test plans for customer projects
- Maintain and update a clean and tidy regression pack
- Support the roll-out of Automation at Airbox, sharing knowledge with the team
- Communicates comfortably with internal stakeholders and immediate team.
- Able to business partner with internal stakeholders and build relationships accordingly
- Develops long term and robust relationships both internally and externally.
- Openly shares views in a truthful and constructive way
- Actively listens to other people and uses their experience to understand, learn and grow.
- Takes ownership for seeing things through.
- Understands how their contributions affect the team, department and company
- Builds and maintains good relationships with their team department and across the company
- ISTQB qualified - minimum foundation level
- Previous experience as a QA Engineer, both with manual and automation experience
- Previous experience as a QA Manager/Head of QA - managing a QA function within a SaaS company.
- Experience testing multi-platform software and servers: Mobile/tablet Android, iOS, Web, PC with consideration of the convention of each platform
- Experience with test automation tools.
- Experience with API testing, familiar with tools such as Postman, K6 or Selenium Web Driver
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Interested in continuous improvement initiatives with a methodical and analytical mindset
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Builds and maintains good relationships with their team department and across the company

**It’s a bonus if**:

- Experience working with K6 library
- Experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail and/or TFS DevOps
