**Job description**

Ensinger Group Ltd is a UK market leader in the manufacture of semi-finished products and finished parts, complete assemblies and precision profiles from high performance plastics. **Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.00pm or Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5.00pm with a 2pm Friday finish

**Scope & Relationships**:
The Stores Operative will report to the Production Supervisor, and the role will require interaction with the Production, Engineering and Quality teams as required, and in particular the Production Supervisor.

The role includes both the stores areas for materials, finished parts, and Engineering tool store as required.

**Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Pack parts to a high standard, ensuring all relevant packing instructions are adhered to.
- Despatch orders to the customer accurately and on time, with appropriate paperwork including Trig C of Cs once trained in line with the Business Management System (BMS).
- Provide material, tooling and other boughtout items to production accurately and on time.
- Provide traceability by accurate counting and recording.
- Receive, check and record materials/tools from suppliers, identifying and rejecting non
- conforming product, and locate material to stock in line with CP05.
- Complete rejects with relevant paperwork, for processing by Quality Department, assisting with any follow investigations and documentation as required by the BMS and CP05 and CP07.
- If trained, the sawing of material to relevant sizes as required for individual jobs, ensuring compliance with safety policies and risk assessments at all times.
- If trained, using the forklift truck to move stock in designated areas, ensuring compliance with safety policies and risk assessments at all times.
- Assist in the completion of regular stock checks to ensure accuracy, with complete involvement in the company’s annual stock check.
- To ensure the general housekeeping of the department is of a high level.
- To ensure all types of scheduling relevant to material/tool stores are adhered to.
- To ensure all filing and paperwork produced within the department is of a high standard and compliant with the BMS.
- All other duties as and when required.

**Experience**
- Experience of working in a similar environment.
- Strong communication skills.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adhere to tight deadlines, multitask and prioritize.
- Detail-orientated, with a high level of attention to avoid errors.
