Job Title: Complaints Officer

Location: Kent

Pay Rate: Approximately £24 per hour

Band Level: 6

Complaints Officer Responsibilities:
The Complaints Officer will be tasked with addressing existing complaints by reviewing information provided by clinical divisions and drafting comprehensive written responses. The role involves analyzing complaints, identifying issues and concerns, reviewing divisional information, and ensuring that each concern is appropriately addressed. The Complaints Officer will also identify areas for learning and improvement, address outstanding information needs, and use gathered information to draft a well-informed Trust response.

Working Pattern:

- Hours: 7.5 hours per day

System Knowledge:

- Proficient in complaints handling
- Familiarity with case management
- Experience with case management systems, such as Datix/InPhase
- DBS Level Requirement:

- Standard for administrative and clerical roles

Key Skills:

- Attention to detail
- Strong communication, particularly written
- Desirable: Drafting experience
- Desirable: Analytical skills
- Adequate typing speed
- Knowledge of case management systems (Datix/InPhase)
- Not essential but beneficial: Clinical knowledge
- Not essential but beneficial: Knowledge of the Trust
