Floor Layer

We are looking for an experienced floor layer to join our team. It is an employed position in a predominantly commercial environment.

'''Duties'''
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, levelling surfaces, and repairing any damage - Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas
- Install various types of flooring, including welded vinyl sheet with site formed skirting,
luxury vinyl tiles, carpet tiles & commercial carpet
materials in place
- Create patterns and designs with different flooring materials as required
- Inspect and clean installed floors to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Minimum two years experience as a floor layer, including weld, cap & cove
- Good knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to floor installation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and cuts
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues during installation process

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- floor laying: 2 years (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)

- Kirkcaldy (required)
