We are able to offer an exciting opportunity to work as the Audiology Receptionist within the Adult Audiology Services Administration and Reception team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be well supported in the work environment by an experienced and friendly team; we care for our staff as much as we do for our patients and we want you to join us.

The post-holder should be proactive and have excellent communication, good IT skills, and able to prioritise their own workloads for themselves and others to accommodate changing demands within the team and service.

This is a 6 months fixed term contract.

The Audiology Receptionist team

**Contributes to the delivery of outstanding patient care by**:
Providing a prompt and professional telephone service to patients in line with office procedures, contributing to the overall efficient and effective running of the audiology appointment function.

Provide a courteous reception service to patients and clinicians in line with office procedures, contributing to the overall effective running of the audiology clinics.

To work closely with audiologists and audiology admin staff to ensure that issues in clinic are raised immediately to maintain the level of service to patients.

To appoint patients into designated appointment slots and ensure any booking issues are raised immediately with the audiology admin co-ordinator.

To manage all calls presented to the Audiology department agreeing a suitable outcome ensuring Auditbase is updated to ensure quality data.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by the queen in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
