Resuscitation Officer

**Education**: This will be the post holders key role - Preparation and presentation of lectures and interactive practical sessions to all levels of staff in adult and paediatric basic and advanced life support. - Preparation and presentation of appropriate training to external agencies. - Development of knowledge and teaching skill in paediatric basic & advanced life support. - Maintenance of own knowledge and skill in all aspects of resuscitation.
- Be lead instructor on in-house and national courses as required. - Provide support training in courses allied to resuscitation. Research & Audit : - Support the Trust Resuscitation audits - Present resuscitation audit reports to the Resuscitation & Deteriorating Patient Committee if required - Participate and assist as appropriate in resuscitation research. Management / General: - To attend the Trust Resuscitation & Deteriorating Patient Committee.
- To represent Resuscitation Officers team as required. - Maintain training equipment to appropriate working standard. - Maintain knowledge of varieties and suppliers equipment enabling recommendations to Trust staff
