Our client is a long established Kitchen and Bathroom company who have recently expanded their locations to the Thirsk area. An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative (nights) to join their team.

This is the ideal role for a Warehouse Operative (Nights) looking to develop their career within a growing company.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the safe loading and unloading of stock on and off the delivery wagons and out of and into the warehouse.

Your duties will include:

- Lifting and loading heavy items
- Stacking and loading pallets
- Checking for and avoiding damage to items
- Assisting the delivery driver to safety load/ unload the vehicles
- Correctly logging items of stock in and out/ damaged
- Scanning stock in and out

To be considered for the role of Warehouse Operative, you must have:

- Experience in a similar role, such as warehouse operative, stock control or yard operative
- Experience of lifting and moving bulky and heavy items
- Due to the remote location access to your own vehicle is essential

Although not essential, a forklift license and/or experience would be advantages.

Additionally, you must possess high levels of accuracy and good attention to detail.

Your own transport is advised due the very rural location of the client.
