UK Marquee Hire is a family run business operating across the UK offering clear span tents for every occasion.

This is an unusual and physically demanding job - setting up, dismantling, and maintaining our marquee’s at festivals, weddings, private parties, corporate events and sporting events.

Hours and days of work vary as required by the business (including some weekends) and you can expect most days to start between 6-7am at the warehouse.

This job offers the opportunity for plenty of work over the summer season, the days are often long and the season is for people who want to work outside. With plenty of earning potential

Anyone after a “normal” or “9-5” job should not apply.

You must
- Be reliable, courteous, and honest with a professional attitude to your work.
- Relish physically demanding work in an outdoors environment
- Be naturally enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
- Be a practical person, good at problem solving.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.

It is desirable that you:

- Live within 30 minutes’ drive of our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard
- have your own transport to get here
- Holding a full UK driving license with experience driving vans is a bonus, but not essential.
- First Aid Trained
- Forklift trained
- 7.5T driver
- Experience working with clear span tents

Pay

The rate of pay is based upon your progression and the level of competence.
- £12-£16 per hour

additional pay for HGV drivers and skilled persons.

**Day to day Responsibilities**
- Assisting the team in the erecting of the marques whilst ensuring you adher to the health and safety legislation.
- Ensuring that all the clients receive courteous communication, respect of property and quality delivered to ensure they are satisfied.
- cleaning and good maintenance of equipment
- Correct and safe loading and unloading of vehicles and stillages
- Be responsible for yard safety.
- Be responsible for checking vehicles daily and logging information.

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
