We are recruiting for an experienced commercial professional to be Head of Commercial - Forensics to support the Commercial Services of a London based police force.

In this role you will provide essential commercial support to the business, managing activity across the commercial lifecycle. You will contribute to delivering commercial excellence for the organisation, providing a customer-focused service, understandingthe business need and stakeholder drivers, with the aim of becoming a trusted commercial advisor.You will develop relationships with the organisations’ key suppliers, driving value for money and managing risk across the category.

You will have experience of public procurement and ideally experience of working in a forensic/scientific environment. Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to create impactful reports and presentations are critical, alongwith the following:

- Extensive Category Management experience and category knowledge
- Strong leadership skills
- Demonstrates strategic thinking and can generate solutions to complex problems
- Experience working and effectively influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong project management capabilities
- Ideally you also hold active CTC/NPPV2 level national security vetting

This role is based in Kilburn, North West London, with hybrid working arrangements.

This is a temporary role for 12 months, working full-time paying £550 - £700 day Umbrella.
