- About the role -_
- As a Community Care Assistant, you will be travelling from one house to another offering help to the elderly and vulnerable who need it most. You could be assisting with many different tasks, which makes every visit and everyday different and exciting. Community Carers make such a difference to the lives of the people you visit._
- Our typical day to day duties -_
- _Helping with food preparation and feeding_
- _Preparing and assisting with medication_
- _Personal care and hygiene_
- _General household duties such as hoovering and washing up_
- _Assisting with any admin tasks_
- _Trips into the local community_
- _Promoting independence and wellbeing of service users at all times_
- Due to the nature of our work, being able to drive is essential and to be confident on the road._
