CNC Operator

**Machinist and CNC Lead Operator**

Precision Global Konex Ltd is recruiting for an experienced machinist and CNC operator to work at our facility in Crickhowell, South Wales. As a company Precision Global Konex Ltd manufactures precision machined components and assemblies serving several large industries from materials including cast iron, aluminium, steel and stainless steel.

This position is for a full time and permanent role within the business. As an expanding company, there is room for growth within the role, including CNC programming, 3D modelling, CAM, Jig and Fixture design and creation, CMM operation and many other avenues.
- Processing of parts through Lathes and Milling machines
- Tooling and machining setup on both lathes and mills, including setup of castings
- Holding tolerances and maintaining quality
- In process and final part inspections
- Comfortable and confident in guiding and training junior CNC operators
- Manual Handling
- General factory duties and machine upkeep

The company is looking for somebody who has a keen attitude and is always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency. Familiarity with Heidenheim TNC control would be an advantage, but not essential.

**Working hours**:
Monday to Thursday: 8am till 4:30pm (30 min break)

Friday: 8am till 1:30pm

37.5 hours per week

Flexibility in start/finish time can be discussed.

Overtime available when required.

28 days paid annual leave per year.

**Rate of pay**:
£18 Per hour (£35,100 annually)
