As a Chemistry Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students understand and excel in the field of chemistry. You will work closely with individuals or small groups, providing personalized instruction, guidance, and support tailored to their unique learning needs.

**Responsibilities**:
Deliver Comprehensive Chemistry Instruction:

- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for students at various academic levels (KS3, GCSE & A-Level).
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on the specific needs and learning styles of each student.

Clarify Concepts and Problem-Solving:

- Assist students in understanding complex chemical concepts, principles, and theories.

Provide Homework and Assignment Assistance:

- Aid students in completing assignments, homework, and laboratory reports, ensuring a thorough understanding of the material.
- Offer constructive feedback to help students improve their academic performance.

Assess and Track Student Progress:

- Administer regular assessments to evaluate student comprehension and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Stay Updated on Curriculum and Teaching Methods:

- Keep abreast of current chemistry curriculum, textbooks, and educational resources.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications:
Educational Background:

- Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry or a related field.

Teaching/Tutoring Experience:

- Prior experience as a chemistry tutor or teacher is preferred.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and motivate students to excel.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 4 per week
