Retronix is a leader in Electronic Component recovery and refurbishment. We offer a unique set of technology solutions aimed at making high reliability electronics more reliable, and reducing manufacturing costs by PCB/IC repair and recycling.

The company is experiencing rapid growth, expanding internationally, and has embarked upon significant process transformation towards increased automation and advanced production control methodologies.

**ROLE**

This role will report directly to the Operations Manager, fulfilling duties which will include (but not be restricted to) the responsibilities listed below.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily communication with cross functional departments regarding procurement & expediting activities
- Review product/seasonal trends/stock forecasting to ensure all stock and materials are in place for the jobs to be completed
- Identify and liaise with multiple suppliers for parts, materials and equipment
- Visit and work closely with suppliers to understand their business & future strategy
- Secure best prices and terms with suppliers as appropriate
- Order parts, materials, equipment from global suppliers (Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Etc)
- Expedite orders ensuring materials are delivered on-time and to the quality standards required, including reporting/controlling non-conformance
- Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming & outgoing materials, parts and components inline with production staff
- Managing the stock holding, including locations
- Update and manage the internal Supply Chain Factory Management system
- Resolve any material issues, ensuring all functions are made aware of remedial actions
- Negotiating with suppliers to deliver savings without compromising service and quality
- Developing and maintaining strategies and a detailed purchasing plan / schedule ensuring no out of stock situations
- Ensuring accurate forecasting / stock value analysis in consultation with the senior managers.
- Liaison with company auditors for management of suppliers.
- Business Development Opportunity Identification

**INTRINSIC JOB FACTORS**
- The role is based in Coatbridge and will require some travel within the UK to meet suppliers.
- The role will require the use of Display screen equipment and Microsoft office work packages.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
