We're looking for an amazing Logistics Planner to work between our Cambridge office and our fantastic new manufacturing facility in Ely. The Logistics Planner is responsible for the flow of finished goods and information to CMR's internal and external customers and regional partners.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days a week being based in the office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the shipping of finish products across the network both import export and cross trade
- Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet agreed customer SLAs
- Review logistics and transport documentation
- Timely escalation of delivery disruptions
- Prepares inbound and outbound shipment paperwork to meet local and international requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Proactively builds productive collaborative working relationships within the team and other functions (Product Support, Planning, Service & Support and Manufacturing teams)
- Helps identify 'best practise' to be adopted by other regional fulfilment teams.

We're a rapidly developing company and roles can change and evolve. You'll be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Logistics Team remit that supports the team with delivering its objectives.

**About you**:
We're looking for someone who is customer focused and proactive, you'll be great at spinning plates and have a sense or urgency without compromising on detail, you also need to have/be:

- Knowledge and experience in transport and international trade with various types of Incoterms applied
- Knowledge of international returns
- Knowledge of Customs and HMRC processes including HS code classification
- Have strong data driven analytical skills.
- Working experience of Lean logistics, Six Sigma, Projects would be an advantage.
- Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline or relevant professional experience in Logistics
- Solid experience in UK/International Logistics operation both import/export
- Understanding use of Incoterms, IATA, DG qualification including battery shipments
- Experience working with ERPs (preferably Netsuite or SAP)
