We are seeking an anaesthetic trained practitioner band 5 to band 6, with a minimum of 2 years experience, to join our team. This is an opportunity for someone who wishes to expand their current theatre role to one that is involved in all aspects of plastic surgery within the clinic.
The role would include providing holistic care to patients in all aspects of the peri-operative setting from pre-operative assessment to working within team and assisting in the smooth running of the operating theatres to co-ordinating and providing post-operative care.
The main duties of the role:
Assisting in the provision of services and care pre-operatively
Providing continuity of patient-centred care by acting as named practitioner
To work alongside and assist the anaesthetist
To work as a team to ensure the general organising of the operating department is maintained to a high standard including stock/drug checks, equipment checks, preparing for lists and communicating with management
Communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately, according to the standards determined by our policies and procedures
Hours are negotiable. We welcome full and part time positions
Shifts are Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday. Theatre shifts start at 8am. Clinic shifts start at 9.30am. No night shifts required. Christmas and New Year off every year.
Salary is dependent on experience £27,500-£38,500
