Minibus Driver

Location: Ryedale

Do you want to join a team of great people from various backgrounds who work for a charity located in Norton?

We are looking for D1 Drivers to join our team. MiDAS training is provided inhouse at no cost to the employee.

**Applicant must**:

- be a minimum of 21 year of age
- hold a clean UK Driving licence with category D1
- obtain an enhanced DBS clearance (which we will meet the cost)

**The Role**:

- Drive a minibus, up to 16 seater or wheelchair accessible car
- operate wheelchair lifts
- carry out basic administration
- carry out visual vehicle checks
- clean minibuses
- fill the minibus with fuel when required

**Type of driving tasks**:

- covering sickness absence and holidays on regular bus routes
- Group travel trips
- Accessible transport journeys
- On demand bus service the Ryedale Rover
- Shopping trips

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 4-20 per week

**Salary**: £10.64 per hour

**Experience**:

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- UK Driving Licence with D1 category (required)
