Agency Cleaner

**Summary of Job Purpose**:
To ensure that all areas of the Home are clean, tidy and presentable at all times creating, a positive and safe environment for Service user’s and staff.

**About the role**:
In your role as a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean safe environment is provided for our residents, visitors and staff. You will be an important part of the team that ensures residents in our care feel valued as individuals.

**General Duties**:
The position covers all general duties of housekeeping and Laundry such as changing beds, cleaning tidying rooms, communal areas, mopping the floors, operating the commercial washing machines and dryers and ironing etc and any other housekeeping duties required for the efficient operating of the home.

**In order to be our Domestic Assistant, you should have**:

- A caring nature and a positive attitude, showing a desire to deliver the best possible service to the residents in our care.
- Experienced domestic/housekeeper in a care or nursing home setting (Preferable)
- Good understanding of COSHH standards and regulations
