Look no further than Early Nurture Childcare in Mitcham, Croydon At SWIFT we are seeking enthusiastic individuals with GCSE Maths and English C or 4, or equivalent, and some personal or professional childcare experience to join our team as a childcare apprentice.

At Early Nurture we believe children learn though play, while also providing focused activities linked to the child’s next steps. The nursery do local excursions including trips to the local children centre’s, Dean City Farm, local parks, forest walks, Morden Hall Park, visiting different stores and soft play centre’s

As a childcare apprentice, you will work towards your Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship, gaining practical skills and knowledge to build a successful career in childcare.

As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the childcare provision, provide stimulating activities for children, and work with other team members to create a positive learning environment. You will also be responsible for preparing food and supporting children's self-help needs.

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

- Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship. Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
- Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
- Being a team player.
- Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
- Taking part in First Aid training as required
- Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
- Working with teams across the nursery setting
- Supporting children’s learning and development.
- Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children. Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
- Supporting children’s self-help needs.
- Being creative and enthusiastic.
- Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

In addition to on-the-job training, you will receive support from an assessor and mentor throughout your apprenticeship, and your classroom days will be based online. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive a Level 3 NVQ - Advanced Diploma Early Years Educator, and may even be eligible for 30% off your Oyster Card
