**Veterinary Equine Administrator**

**Torch Equine Vets are looking for an Equine Administrator to join our team**

We are one of the largest independent farm and equine practices in the country. Our friendly 100% equine team comprises 3 partners and 6 employed vets.

The key purpose of the role is to support the equine veterinary team in achieving business objectives. The role demands high levels of accuracy and efficiency.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- **
- Account management including invoicing, queries and amendments
- Debt control
- Secretarial duties - writing up dictated clinical notes for senior vets
- Managing insurance claims
- Supporting senior vets with report writing eg stable inspections
- Healthcare plans/worming programme administration
- Vaccine, dental and health reminders
- Monthly reports for Directors
- Arranging meetings
- Supporting the equine vets and Directors with ad hoc tasks as and when required

**Key skills required**
- Equine knowledge is essential
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Experience in a customer service role
- Good work ethic and a commitment to see a task through to completion.
- Experience and a good understanding of Microsoft office and databases
- Ability to work independently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From £21,000.00 per year
