An opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Analyst to join an international law firm, in London with hybrid working on a full time, permanent basis.

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will report to the Director of Risk and Compliance and work closely with the firm’s regulatory compliance lawyer.

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will be a key part of the team and will help maintain legal and regulatory compliance obligations across the Firm’s EMEA operations.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assisting in various compliance projects to ensure the Firm remains compliant.
- Developing an understanding in and utilising project management and workflow tools to deliver on projects to set standards.
- Assisting in the building and ongoing work to maintain the firm’s risk register, office key information and risk assessments.
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of metrics across the team through the firms software.
- Assisting with reviewing and drafting relevant policies and procedures to ensure the firm is aligned with all legal obligations.
- Responding to compliance related requests, for example, DAC6, engagement letter issues, insider list maintenance.
- Reviewing contractual terms with client and suppliers to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
- Keeping abreast of relevant changes across all EMEA jurisdictions

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential management issues and information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including proofreading.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to think critically and analytically.
- Self-motivation with an ability to work independently and perform research.
- Excellent IT skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF).
- University degree or equivalent.
- Legal and/or Research experience preferred.

Salary between £35,000 and £40,000.
