**SQL Developer - SSIS / SSRS - Northampton / Flexible**

**SQL Developer**required for a leading business based in Northampton to be responsible for interacting with both technical and non-technical users to define requirements and test cases therefore, you will need to have proven advanced skillsin development of SSIS and SSRS based on loosely defined requirements and limited documentation. You will ultimately be responsible for the development, management, support and maintenance of SQL, SSIS and SSRS as well as monitoring of systems health and performance.

The salary for this role is between **£55,000 and £60,000** per annum depending on experience, plus benefits.

Please note this role offers flexible / hybrid working with a minimum of 1 day in the office per week.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop complex SSIS packages utilizing data from heterogeneous sources
- Develop complex SSRS reports
- Optimize the performance of SSRS reports / related SQL code
- Document existing and new work in detail
- Taking ownership for incident tickets, ensuring all steps to identify and resolve the issue in a timely and effective manner.
- Contributing to the architecture and delivery roadmap to ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security.
- Ensure that all Company policies and standards set by the business Cyber Security function are followed by all users.
- Understand and communicate technical solutions and designs to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Build strong working relationship with customers and internal teams, generating good two-way communication and engagement
- Ensure that customer enquiries, both verbal and written are managed in a timely and professional manner.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Gathering accurate critical information from meetings with stakeholders and producing appropriate deliverables for the team

**Key Skills**
- MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications
- Strong proven experience and expert level in SQL / SSIS / SSRS development
- Good knowledge of Active Directory user/group management
- A strong focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Attention to detail with a methodical and thorough approach to work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
- Demonstrable experience of Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
- Backups, restores and recovery models experience
- Proven experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
