**Job Title: Picker/Packer**

**Location: Wickford, Essex**

**Salary: £8.91 per hour (weekly pay whilst temping)**

**Position starts: ASAP**

**Temporary to PERMANENT position**

**Hours: 8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday**

**Job description**:
**Duties**:

- Receiving distributed picking orders.
- Locating products in aisles from pick notes.
- Completing relevant paper work.
- Sticking other labels onto products if required for specific orders.
- Up and down step-ladders to pick products from shelves or racking.
- Wrapping pallets if required..
- Ad-hoc heavy lifting up to 20kgs involved in this role due to the nature of some of the products but majority of staffing use a trolley to move around within the warehouse.
- Any items over 15-20kgs would be moved with a 2-worker team so you are never expected to lift alone
- **Picking from racking with the use of smaller ladders & larger aisle steps as required.**:

- Full training is provided and full induction given on day one.

**Experience**:

- Previous warehouse and picking/packing experience is required.
- **Able to happily go up & down mini step ladders to pick stock.**:

- Good reading & writing.
- Good eye for detail and accuracy when reading bar codes.
- Fit and able to manually lift or move stock items.
