University of Plymouth are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Outreach Coordinator to widen participation in the talent pipeline for environmental science.

You will reach wider audiences comprising of young people (school age and 18 years and under) including those from under-represented groups to improve their awareness of opportunities in marine and environmental sciences (both natural and social sciences), especially those that are related to the sustainable management of marine resources.

You will lead, manage, and implement the delivery of a planned programme of proposed project activities in an effective and flexible way and to budget.

You will be based within the main University Campus.

There is an essential requirement within this role that you will be required to travel to and work at different University sites and/or other business locations that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Please refer to the job description for further information.

This is a part-time position working 14.8 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31st March 2025 due to funding.
