This Transport Maintenance Controller will report to the Transport Maintenance Team Leader and will work within Network Operations based in our Energy House Crawley/ Dartford Grid office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £32,916 per annum (depending on experience) and a bonus of 3%.

**Job Purpose**:
Work within a small team in the provision of cost efficient vehicle maintenance services through a network of external suppliers, ensuring the delivery of the highest levels of service standards and compliance within company procedures and statutory requirements.
**Principle Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:
To liaise with customers and suppliers in the provision of maintenance services to UKPN fleet vehicles, monitoring vehicle progress ensuring maintenance/repairs are completed following manufacturer's recommendations, current legislation and within agreed service levels.

**Nature and scope**:
UK Power Networks Transport is responsible for the provision of commercial vehicles and cars for use within UK Power Networks, maintaining the fleet in a roadworthy condition at all times ensuring maximum availability to perform the work
Excellent customer orientation and provide excellent customer service in dealing with customers and suppliers in the resolution of queries, complaints and estimating and authorisation.
IT literate and use a variety of systems with accurate keyboard skills.
Awareness of the section's business, environmental, safety and financial obligations together with a working knowledge of vehicle repair, repair and invoice management is required.
Work as part of a team with the d ability to work co-operatively with others to achieve shared goals.

The UK Power Networks Fleet consists of circa 4000 vehicles, plant and specialist equipment.
**Qualifications**:
A sound knowledge of transport legislation and its impact on the business.

Experience in an administration/support role within a related environment.
Awarded NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in Business Admin.
