Purchase Ledger Clerk

Reporting to the AP and AR Manager r_**_esponsibilities will include_**
- **_ Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures_**:

- **_ Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data_**:

- **_ Creation of new Vendors in accordance with company policy_**:

- **_ Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted._**:

- **_ Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements_**:

- **_ Generate reports detailing accounts payables status_**:

- **_ Understand expense accounts and cost centres_**:

- **_ Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (deferment account, sales tax, IR35, etc)_**:

- **_ Processing of multi-currency invoices and payments_**:

- **_ To cover AP Clerk with processing of Expenses through SAP Concur when required_**:

- **_ Liaise with the externals auditors to assist them in completing their external audit work_**:

- **_ To support AP Supervisor, and cover when required_**

The ability to juggle priorities is key so you will be great at managing your time, be highly organised with a strong work ethic and flexible attitude and approach to work. We expect high standards and you will be great at developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships to get things done efficiently. - **_ Proven working experience in Accounts Payable_**:

- **_ Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles_**:

- **_ Proven ability to calculate, post and _**_manage accounting_**_ figures and financial records_**:

- **_ Data entry skills along with an excellent attention to detail for numbers_**:

- **_ Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookup, xlookup, pivot tables, etc)_**:
