**Sustainable Design Specialist**:
**Salary : £35k - £45k**:

An established architectural studio are seeking an ambitious Sustainable Design Specialist to join their London team. In this role, you will play a key part in advising on industry-leading sustainability standards, with a focus on large-scale housing schemes and retrofit projects. You will contribute to environmental design across various stages of projects, conducting research on building performance, sustainability reporting, and environmental modelling.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advise project teams and clients on sustainable design practices, offering solutions that meet relevant targets.
- Provide guidance on sustainability standards for residential and non-residential buildings, including BREEAM and Passivhaus.
- Conduct post-occupancy evaluations for projects.
- Perform environmental modelling, specifically overheating (TM59) and daylight/sunlight analysis.
- Conduct energy modelling using software such as PHPP, IES, Design Builder, or SAP.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Environmental Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Technology.
- Experience in sustainable design within an architectural or engineering practice.
- Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, including RIBA 2030, LETI, and Passivhaus.
- Familiarity with UK planning and construction processes.
- Knowledge of UK regulations pertaining to energy and CO2 emissions is advantageous.
- Team player with leadership qualities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
