Currently, for our site in Slough, we’re looking for a Production Controller/Planner to join our well-established production team.

The role holder will plan, schedule and monitor Gas Seal orders from assembly through to packing in line with the promised customer schedule

This role is Monday to Friday during office hours with the possibility to work occasionally from home if needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Working closely with both Gas Seals senior operatives ensuring all materials, documentation and tooling is available in line with scheduled start date.
- Review job orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules.
- Create Gas Seal build files using visual factory software and conventional processes. Scan all completed build files for traceability
- Schedule, release, print PWO’s and service orders, liaise with CPW regarding picking priorities
- Manage Gas Seal Test plan and lead production review meetings
- Point of contact for CST team with regard to providing updates
- Actively participate in CI activities that improve efficiency and quality, reduce lead-time and cost
- Run various SAP reports to ensure goods movements have been completed correctly

The Individual
- Experience in planning and scheduling within a low-volume and high-mix environment
- Product knowledge of both wet and gas seals is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Understands technical work instructions and technical drawings
- Good IT skills including SAP experience
- Experience of using and implementing CI tools
