GFP is a Financial, Planning & Analysis team that supports the Group Finance Directors in the delivery of outputs to internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for the preparation, review and assessment of all consolidated financial information for the Group

It is also a great opportunity for an ambitious accountant who can showcase a real appetite to progress within 18/24 months and has a desire to map out a career within a forward-thinking company.

Group Financial Planner Responsibilities include:

- Consolidate and analyse operating results, financial position and cash flow
- Manage the timetable for the year-end audit process, interact with various stakeholders during the process including external auditors, divisional colleagues and Finance Directors
- Prepare Group Consolidated Financial Statements and subsidiary financial statements
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the divisional finance teams
- Critical assess the Corporation Tax Returns prepared on the Group's behalf by our tax advisors and monitor the Groups corporation tax position
- Get involved in ad hoc projects including requests for financial analysis, ONS returns and assist with the management of risk
- Maintain and develop the consolidation system to support the integrity of financial data output and the end users in their use of the system

Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA
- Analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to work to targets and timescales
- Excel skills in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail
- Team Working and Collaboration
