If you are looking for a role to make a difference to our patients, and help clinical colleagues, this may be the role for youOur Housekeepers are part of the Catering Team within AGH Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking for caring, committed, and flexible colleagues to join our current ward based housekeeping team.

The role of Housekeeper is challenging, but rewarding. You are in the enviable position of being able to take time to speak with our patients, and help with recovery by offering our hydration and nutritional offering to them. Full Training provided, including Allergen training, and on all of our meals, there may even be some food tasting......

Our Housekeepers help keep the ward clean and tidy in line with the National Cleaning Standards, record fridge temperatures, collate patient meal orders via an iPad, deliver patient meals, and drink services. Working as part of a team is paramount in this role, but be prepared for busy days, and rewarding days. The hours are between 0700-2000 7 days a week, 365 days a year, typical shifts are 0700-1330, and 1600-2000, although we do offer different shifts due to the service area and requirements on the Housekeeping service so flexibility is key. Your shifts are allocated on a roster basis, at least 2 weeks in advance.
