The Best Connection are working with our client in Peterlee who are a global leader in design and manufacture of storage units. Due to increased levels of business, they now have a requirement a **Senior Supervisor** to work in the production area.

This role is being offered an a permanent basis.

Duties include:

- Monitor line efficiencies and motive production staff to ensure targets are met.
- Manager individual and team performance against targets and KPI’s.
- Manage inductions and training for new staff.
- Ensure all production staff complete paperwork and QI checks are completed correctly and accurately.
- Control and update end of month stock takes.
- Ensure HSEQ protocols are promoted and adhered to.
- Ensure all transactions in the ERP system are recorded accurately and efficiently.
- Deputise for the Production Manager in their absence.
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Experience of mentoring and developing a team.
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques.
- Self-motivated and flexible attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate.
- Experience of using an ERP system would be desirable.

Hours of work:

- Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
- Friday 7.00am - 11.00am

**Salary**:

- £28,000 - £32,000 depending upon experience.
