**Cyber Security Manager, CISSP, CISM, NIST, Risk, Information Security, Milton Keynes, Part-Remote**

Cyber Security Manager required to work for an exciting, well-known business based in Milton Keynes. However, due to Covid-19, you will only be expected to be in the office 3 days per week.

It will be your responsibility to lead the implementation of a new NIST-based Information Security Framework. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing robust and reliable cyber security processes and standards from scratch to ensure thecompany is secure and aligned with industry recommendations and best practices.

For the longer term, you will be involved in building a cyber security roadmap for the next 3 to 5 years, along with conducting ongoing security threat, risk, capability and/or maturity assessments.

We see this as a bit of a Cyber Security playground for someone to really create a stamp on this and really make a name for themselves. Ideally you will be CISSP or CISM certified and you would have done this kind of thing (almost from scratch) previously.Read on for more details

**Experience Required**:

- 3-5 years Cyber Security management experience.
- CISM or CISSP accredited.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering and maintaining the NIST framework and associated controls / processes.
- Hands-on experience of carrying out cyber security risk assessments and maintaining a security risk register.
- Enabling and informing risk-based decisions: You can make and guide effective decisions on risk, explaining clearly how the decision has been reached. You can make decisions proportionate to the level of technical complexity and risk.
- Subject matter expert in Information security risk frameworks to influence security controls
- Knowledge and experience of key IT security concepts:

- Familiarity with and management of VPN solutions
- Basic networking concepts - WAN / LAN / VLANs
- Expertise in delivering and managing role-based access controls and access rights review process including PAM tools
- Familiarity with vulnerability monitoring tools
- Hands-on experience with SOC and SIEM technologies, IDS/IPS networks and host-based firewall technologies and anti-virus solutions
- Knowledge of UK Data Protection act, data privacy concepts
- Hands-on experience in delivering Cyber Essentials Plus
