Warehouse/driver

Yeames Ltd is looking for a Warehouse/Driver to join our team in Ramsgate. This position is responsible for loading and unloading delivery trucks, co-ordinating the warehouse storage and deliver products to customer sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts and other mechanical equipment
- Operate a van to deliver products to and from customer sites
- Maintain warehouse equipment by cleaning, checking equipment, replacing parts, and performing preventative maintenance
- Perform daily inventory checks on all store inventory control positions
- Keep warehouse clean and organized by performing trash removal, recycling, and other duties inside the warehouse as needed.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Forklift experience and certificate required
- Health and Safety conscious
- Able to work with computer software at a high level to perform stock takes and pick lists
- Experience in a warehouse environment in a forklift or other mechanical equipment package option preferred

**Salary**: £7.95-£12.65 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ramsgate: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (required)
