At Masterclass, we are recruiting for a part time **HLTA** for a wonderful 2 form Primary School in the Shoreham area. They provide a happy and safe environment where the learners can thrive in their education and development. The role is part-time, however there is the opportunity for more hours to cover teacher absences. The school are looking for someone to start through Masterclass and then transition to become a permanent part of their team.

The school are looking to recruit for a **HLTA** who has the ability to support young people with their learning, take over the class as a teacher, manage the children’s behaviour, and engaging them in their learning. You will be fully immersed into the life of the school and encouraged to be proactive in your role alongside your colleagues.
- **To support the learner’s development across all areas of their development**:

- **Teach students in the absence of the teacher.**:

- **Support and encourage positive behaviour management.**:

- **Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling students to feel relaxed and happy**:

- **To establish positive relationships with the students and staff within the school**:

- **To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every student has the chance to be the best they can be.**
- **Hold a HLTA qualification.**:

- **Are knowledgeable across the Primary National Curriculum**:

- **Are positive, upbeat and have a good sense of humour.**:

- **Are drivers or can access public transport.**
