**Care Assistant**:Regardless of experience. Full in-house training provided in our Gillingham office.

**Hours per week**:3 weekends per month _(work Friday, Saturday and Sunday either early or late, plus one full weekend off every month)_

**Hours of availability**:You choose; Earlies (8:00am - 3:00pm), or Lates (3:00pm - 9:00pm)

**Location**:Medway - _we aim to keep you close to your local area, however must be prepared to work anywhere in Medway._

**Hourly Rate**:We pay **£12.25** per hour + mileage. Evenings (7pm onwards) and weekends **£13.25 **per hour. Enhanced rates paid for all public holidays; Christmas and New Year is paid at double time

You may have previously worked in retail, education, leisure travel, the NHS, or hospitality and have transferable skills. You may have recently left college, or sixth form and are looking for a career in care. You may be an Undergraduate looking for a flexible role to fit around your studies.

- Be able to **work 3 weekends each month**:

- Have a full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Have access to your own vehicle - **This role is not suitable for 'non-drivers'**:

- Already have full legal right to work in the UK - **We do not offer sponsorship at this time**:

- Be prepared to attend our 3-day induction training at our Gillingham office
- Already live in Medway

**OK, but what tasks will I do?**

Our clients depend on our team of dedicated CareGivers to help and support them with the activities of daily living in their own homes. Typical tasks include:

- Personal care (mínimal assistance is all that is sometimes required)
- Companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc)
- Medication administration / assistance
- Assisting clients living with Dementia
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Catheter / STOMA care
- And much more...
