As a school based care assistant you will be working within schools to support students care and educational needs. This could include supporting elements of personal care, assisting socialising and interaction, supporting working and completing tasks throughoutthe day. You will be working with the child to build on their ability to care for themselves.

This school is highly accommodating and understanding to the needs of each child. They are looking for someone who can support the students with their education and learning, personal care, mental health and well-being, socialisation and emotional regulationboth inside and outside of the classroom. This role holds its own challenges that is extremely rewarding for the correct applicant.

Within this role, it is important that you are resilient, patient, understanding and approachable for you to be supportive to the child. It is vital you have an understanding of safeguarding and understand that any concerns need to be reported correctlyfor the best interest of the child.
