Production Operatives-afternoon Shift

**MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT DUE TO RURAL LOCATION**:
1) To produce goods for the customers of the business

2) To ensure the production lines operate efficiently by being sure of the following:

- The lines are ready to run on time, set up correctly, without delay enabling for smooth constant running.
- The lines are operating correctly as per training, making sure they are set for the production which is to take place and operating a clean as you go policy.
- 3) _To participate in the general administration and organisation of your immediate surroundings

**Main Activities/Duties** _(List all the activities/duties you are responsible for in order of priority)_

1) Operate and help to maintain the machinery you are working on.

2) Produce accurate compliant products in a safe hygienic manner.

3) Monitor product and hardware around you to make sure the line keeps running, informing supervisors of potential issues in advance to prevent lines stopping/down time.

4) Maintain strict traceability records as required by the job and ensure compliance paperwork is filled in

5) Maintain a flexible approach to work and a willingness to get the job done.

6) Observe and maintain safety levels with a particular attention to yours and your colleagues’ safety.

7) Undertake training to meet food legislation requirements.

8) Maintain a strict level of personal and workplace hygiene.

9) Work with your team to plan smooth, effective production. Including where possible cover for breaks.

10) Use common sense and the training you have been given including your induction for both Food Safety and Health and Safety to work in an efficient, safe and timely manner thus ensuring personal and company goals are met.

11) Undertake other duties within the production facility as part of the manufacturing team when/where deemed necessary.

12) Have the ability to take on responsibility and complete tasks through to the end.

13) To follow specifications and achieve product quality

14) To safeguard ingredients (dough included), packaging materials and final products

15) To maintain personal hygiene and follow good manufacturing practices and all training received on the line or since their work commenced

16) To communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, members of the technical team, engineers

17) To immediately communicate all non-conformances

18) To ensure compliance paperwork is filled in

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
