**Brief**

This is an exciting role that will allow you to have direct influence over how our customer operates their IT systems by working direct with them to set out and implement their IT Strategy.
You will have had previous experience in being part of an organisations architectural direction and implementing that strategy.
You will work closely with a small team dedicated to implementing new customer solutions based on your requirements
Therefore you should have previous experience in the following areas:

- Understanding what are the business IT requirements and constraints are
- Articulating new design requirements to all stakeholders
- Advise how best to implement any new designs
- Understand how new solutions integrate with current ones
- Be able to clearly and concisely review and construct architectural design documents.
- Support the team with hands on assistance with any new implementations

**What the role entails**:
Some of the main duties of the IT Systems Architect will include:

- Proven experience as a Systems Architect / Solutions Architect or related role
- Designing, planning and implementing enterprise IT architecture (Infrastructure, Windows, VMware)
- Work closely with client's Architecture team and Solutions Architects internally to deliver solutions
- Stakeholder management
- Client facing
- Familiar with TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and or ITIL
