We’re looking for an awesome H&S Consultant/Principal Designer
Do you have experience working in construction and dealing with CDM regulations?

The 14 of us are Rhino Safety Ltd (aka #TeamRhino); a small company with big plans, and getting noticed (coy way of saying award-winning) for being the rainbow in a grey sky of Health and Safety. #TeamRhino isn’t just a hashtag, it’s our whole culture. We’re a friendly, if slightly oddball bunch who don’t take ourselves too seriously, even though what we do is pretty serious business.

We’re the outsourced health and safety department for other companies. We work with businesses nationwide, from offices to airlines, ice cream factories to pyjama manufacturers, and even celebrity-member health clubs. We look after their H&S so they don’t have to worry about it. *we’re not regular H&S Consultants, we’re cool H&S Consultants.

You’re proactive, approachable, computer-savvy, and persuasive without being creepy. You get along with almost anyone and want to help an awesome company grow because you know our clients get genuine benefit from what we do. You prefer quality over quantity and are proud of doing a great job. You’ve got experience (and preferably qualifications) in H&S, Fire Risk, and Construction. You don’t glaze over when someone mentions CDM regulations, and can undertake the role of a Principal Designer without breaking into a cold sweat.

You’ll be working closely with our Directors and Consultants to look after the CDM and PD requirements of our clients, as well as general H&S and Fire Risk management. You are able to take on a workload of existing clients and manage their services in a positive manner. You’ll need to be confident on the phone, able to use a CRM, organised and resilient. This is a role that requires experience and confidence, but you need to be able to work as part of a close-knit team that isn’t precious about hierarchies.

We’re offering a pro-rata salary of £30k-£40k depending on qualifications and experience, with full flexible working (we count the work, not the hours). We have gorgeous offices in Sandbach with great coffee and snacks, and a fantastic team. We don’t do big corporate commission schemes and benefits, but we do make you feel valued and genuinely care about your happiness. We like treating the whole team equally with bonuses and gifts when we have things to celebrate, and you will always get a day off for your birthday (but we have to have cake when you’re next in).
