- **General Duties/Responsibilities**:_
- Internal and external customer and supplier liaison ensuring correspondence surrounding departmental tasks are communicated and articulated in an appropriate manner.
- Process orders and returns for both internal and external customers ensuring documentation is controlled and filed in accordance with departmental processes.
- Involvement in customer portal submissions.
- Build a thorough understanding of all work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and ensure they are up to date.
- Responsible for weekly maintenance of department data system.
- Maintaining accurate record keeping of dispatch documentation.
- Plan and coordinate site collection schedule with customers and third-party transport companies.
- Effective escalation of issues relating to customer / System requirements
- Matching and checking supplier invoices for warehouse purchase orders
- Ordering packing materials and consumables for the warehouse
- Printing documents for outgoing shipments
- Stock adjustments
- Ensure stationary levels are maintained in accordance with departmental requirements.
- To be part of the team, aware of the department duties and responsibilities, assist in meeting deadlines, maintaining accuracy and reliability of data.
- As part of the team, you will need to be aware of and work towards meeting the departmental key performance indicators set out by the manager.
- General administration support for the warehouse
- **Skill and experience**:_
- Experience of administration
- Excellent level of Numeracy and Literacy
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with dealing with internal and external customers
- Be competent using IT Skills; Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good time management.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, must be methodical, and logical in their approach to work
- Ability to solve problems quickly using own initiative
- Ability to meet manage a busy workload, meet deadlines and exceed target.
- Working knowledge of SAP is desirable
- Experience of production planning/scheduling tools would be of benefit
